How do I order your collection pieces?
Simply choose your designs, add them to your basket and checkout as normal. Please remember that I need your measurements within 24 hours, so either leave them in the notes when you checkout, or contact me via email or social media (quoting your order number).
What measurements do you need?
I just need the following measurements;

Do you make my size?
I can make any size! I want to be as inclusive as possible, which is why I use measurements instead of standard sizing.
Can I customise the designs of your collection pieces?
No, collection pieces are not customisable, apart from in sizing. To customise designs, join my custom order waitlist.
How do I place a custom order?
I have a custom order waitlist, and the chances are the waitlist is full at this moment. I reopen it every 3-4 months, at an exact time and date that I will pre-announce on my Instagram, and it usually fills up again with 200+ sets within an hour. Keep a close eye on my Instagram (@urbanbirdclothing) for updates, you could even turn on post notifications if you’re worried you’ll miss it! (I promise I don’t post too often!)

How much do custom orders cost?
Prices vary depending on the design. Most sets cost between £70-£95, with the more complicated and strappy designs being most expensive.
Do you have anything ready to ship?
I no longer stock ready to ship sets, as I much prefer the inclusivity of being able to offer custom sizing.
When will your waitlist reopen?
My waitlist will reopen when I’m all caught up with the current list. As soon as I know the exact time and date, I will post plenty on my Instagram so be sure to keep an eye on my posts and set your reminders!
Is a certain fabric/lace/elastic still available?
Check out the custom orders catalogue to see what designs, fabrics, laces and elastics are currently available. Please note that I have recently streamlined this process, which involved limiting the amount of options slightly. You may notice that some old designs and fabrics aren’t currently available. If this changes, I will update the catalogue, so please choose from what you see here.
Is a sold out fabric being restocked?
All my fabrics are very limited edition, and once one sells out, it's not always possible to restock it unfortunately!
Are the bralets padded?
No, none of my bralets are padded. However upon request, I can add a lining into the bralets with a little pocket so you can add your own removable padding, this is £4 extra per bralet.
Can they be used as pole wear?
Sure! Although originally designed as lingerie, most of my customers tend to buy my designs to use as pole wear now. They often request two adjustments to be made, the first is to add a pocket for their own removable padding, as mentioned above. And the second is to widen the crotch area slightly on any bottoms they order, this is an easy adjustment so is free of charge.
Can they be used as swimwear?
My designs are intended as lingerie, and have not been tested for use as swimwear. Chlorine, salt water and heat can all affect fabrics, and even the techniques and elastics used for swimwear manufacturing are vert different. So ultimately, no, I do not recommend you use my designs as swimwear, only do so at your own risk.
What designs can I choose from for custom orders?
Check out the custom order catalogue for all the available options. Often, small details like lace placement and strappy details can be mixed and matched, so please feel free to ask me about any ideas. However, keep in mind that I don't create entirely new designs for custom orders.
Can I request that you don't remake my custom order for other people?
No. While you can customise any of my designs with various fabrics and laces, please bare in mind that they are still my designs, and therefore I reserve the right to sell the same designs to other customers. I often post photos of my custom sets onto social media, which helps to generate more orders and keeps my little business going strong. Unfortunately I'd have to charge a massive amount more for each piece to be completely unique, and my aim is to keep prices affordable for handmade custom pieces.

How long do orders take to be dispatched?
All orders take up to 4 weeks to make and dispatch. As soon as your order has been posted, you will receive an email. Shipping times depend on the destination.

Will I be charged customs?
Unfortunately, once a parcel has been posted, it is entirely out of my control. It is the customer’s responsibility to research custom charges for their country, and to pay any fees that may occur.

Will my order be tracked?
UK orders are sent First Class Signed For unless otherwise requested. Special Delivery is available on request and does include tracking.
All international orders are sent tracked, and you will receive the tracking info via email as soon as your order has been posted.
Can I combine my order with friends, and order as a group?
Sure! You are more than welcome to combine orders with friends, it's a great way to save on postage costs. I just ask that you checkout together if an order is being shipped to the same address, it just makes it easier for me to keep track of.
